Structured interview

A consistent interview considers experience, motivation, responsibility, availability and role judgement.

Candidate completing a job-relevant fitness check

Medical & fitness check

Only job-relevant, consent-based fitness or medical requirements are used where law and the assignment require them.

Authorised team verifying candidate documents

Verification

Police, background, address, education, experience and document-genuineness checks may apply to security-sensitive roles.

Candidate receiving an offer before professional induction

Offer & appointment

Selected candidates receive authorised written terms covering role, location, pay, benefits and joining conditions.

Training, professional development & confirmation

After appointment, role training may run for up to three months, followed by supervised duty and a development period. Confirmation requires satisfactory assessment, an available role and written authorised approval—it is never automatic.

Detailed assessment and employment stages

Not every vacancy uses every stage. HR confirms the exact process only for the active role.

Employment begins only after accepted written terms, required checks and authorised joining documentation.

Training and supervised deployment

Initial induction and role training may run for up to three months, covering SOPs, reporting, safety, conduct and assessed supervised field duty, subject to written terms.

Field probation / development period

A proposed field-development pathway may run for up to three years where stated in the appointment terms, with periodic reviews of performance, discipline, training and role readiness.

Permanent confirmation assessment & authorised approval

Confirmation is not automatic. It requires a role-relevant quality or competency assessment, successful probation, satisfactory performance, verification, attendance, conduct, an available continuing role and a written confirmation letter. Senior or board-level positions require the appropriate authorised appointment.

Important employment note: Any probation period—including a proposed three-year field-development period—must comply with applicable employment law, certified standing orders or service rules, client requirements and the signed appointment letter. HR should obtain legal review before publishing it as a fixed condition for every employee.

Selection-process Q&A

Does every candidate complete every test?

No. The assessment plan depends on the vacancy. A guard, driver, supervisor, technician, instructor and office candidate may have different relevant stages.

Is the psychological test a mental-health diagnosis?

No. It should be a role-relevant occupational aptitude or personality assessment administered fairly. Medical diagnosis must not be inferred from a recruitment questionnaire.

When should I provide sensitive documents?

Provide only the minimum documents requested through a verified Durgashtra recruitment process after screening. Never send passwords, OTPs or payments. Bank and statutory details should be collected only at authorised onboarding.

Does passing the tests guarantee employment or permanent status?

No. Selection, appointment, deployment and confirmation depend on the complete assessment, verification, role availability, written terms and applicable law.

Will candidates receive the result?

Shortlisted candidates should receive communication about the next stage. Final terms are valid only when issued in an authorised written offer or appointment letter.
